**ABOUT THE POSITION**

As a Lead Hand for the assembly team you’ll be responsible for both working and helping to coordinate your primary work area.

You will be the primary contact for the status updates in your section and you will help train and support other team members.

You will also assist the supervisor in ensuring targets are met and safety protocols are followed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Learn all positions along the assembly line including assembly, adjusting, packaging, and cleaning
- Assemble frames as required using hand tools
- Use the ERP system to print production sheets and labels
- Lead and train team members in the assembly area
- Work with your supervisor to ensure production targets are met
- Perform regular quality inspections on products
- Work with the supervisor to resolve any issues that may occur.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and take charge of area cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English Fluently
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be comfortable working with computers
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
