**Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Mississauga location.**

**What You Will Do**:

- Oversee the receiving of products into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee staffing by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results, responding to changing workloads and establishing, monitoring and managing operational goals
- Oversee the receiving, sorting and shipping of cores, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Manage vendor returns and shipping processes, including handling any discrepancies in orders received from suppliers
- Ensure proper bin maintenance and organization within the warehouse and resolve any inventory discrepancies
- Assist with warehouse staffing levels by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees to meet operational demands
- Other duties as assigned

**What We Require**:

- ** MUST** have two years of warehouse management experience
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse environment required.
- Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers
- Strong written and verbal skills - ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
- Previous experience in inventory control and management an asset
- Previous experience with parts cataloguing systems and barcode systems an asset
- Previous experience with warehouse equipment an asset
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset
