**Polar Express is hiring a CSR/Billing Specialist**

**Position**:CSR/Billing Specialist I**

**Location**:Langley, BC V1M 3Y5
**Pay**: $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour | DOE

**Shift**: Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Polar Express is an essential LTL transportation company that provides warehousing, distribution, logistics and more for temperature-controlled commodities across Canada and the continental U.S. Located in beautiful Langley BC, we have an exciting position available in our CSR / Billing department. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain accuracy with invoicing.
- Respond & communicate to inquiries & billing issues.
- Administrative duties: data entry, sort and distribute daily mail, filing, maintenance of filing systems, and assistance with file archiving.
- Utilize TruckMate to enter freight bills, research orders, set up for new customers, schedule and enter delivery appointments for freight, and note appointment time/date on delivery receipts.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer interaction.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Work under the close direction of senior personnel.
- Provide support for dispatch and other department/team members as needed.

**EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES, AND QUALITIES PREFERRED**:

- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate and prompt communication, dependable and deadline driven.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Basic knowledge related to accounts receivable, accounts payable and basic math knowledge.
- Beginner-intermediate proficiency in TruckMate a plus.
