Guelph, Canada Avalon Supported Living Program Full time

Avalon Semi-Independent Living Program is currently hiring an Adult Support Worker or CYW to support a young female adult client in Guelph, Ontario. Primary duties involve transporting this client and her young child to appointments and visits in Guelph, Kitchener, or Toronto.

This position involves working one to two shifts per week. Days may vary based on the needs of the client. Shifts are normally between four and eight hours.

A degree or diploma in the Social Services or CYW diploma is preferred, however, university or college students in a related field with relevant experience are encouraged to apply The starting rate of pay for this role is $24 per hour, which includes the $3 per hour wage enhancement funded by the Ontario government.

Experience working with challenging behaviours is an asset. A valid G driver's license is required.

Applicants must be comfortable driving to Toronto.
