P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres is a non-profit, community-based child care organization. We offer programs ranging from Infant to School age at various locations across the Durham Region.

**Position: Early Childhood Assistant**

**Location: Ajax & Whitby**

**Status: Part Time - Split Shift (approx. 7am-9am & 3pm-6pm)**

**Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour plus $2/hour in a Provincial Wage Enhancement grant for regular hours worked**

What we need from you:

- A passion for working with children
- Strong interpersonal skills to gain the trust and respect of children and their parents
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Second Language is an asset
- Demonstrated skills working as a team and enjoy a team environment
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Experience in planning and implementing programs
- 1 - 3 years experience working in the child care field is preferred
- A current (less than 6 months old) Criminal Check & Vulnerable Sector Search
- Standard First Aid CPR Level C Certification
