Job description

Kinnect Support Services is a social services partner that provides trained staff support to various organizations in need of relief staff. Our team offers superior support to Agencies, Organizations, and Institutions that work with adolescents’ youth, adults, and seniors who experience behavioral, social, emotional, physical, and psychiatric difficulties.

We are currently hiring for casual:

- Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Early Childhood Educators (ECE)
- Early Childhood Assistants (ECA)

**Responsibilities**:

- Works with a team to establish and maintain a safe, warm, and caring environment in which a high-quality childcare program can operate.
- Support program teachers and leads in programs and supportive care of children ages 24 months-7 years.
- Ensure safety of all children and participants.
- Promote positivity and inclusiveness within all children.
- Continually assess the well being of the children in the program.
- Must be available for on-call and part time shift call outs.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with groups of school aged children in a formal setting classroom.
- Family mediation experience is an asset
- A current Police Reference Check or willing to get a Vulnerable sector Criminal reference check
- Up-to-date immunization records.
- A valid Standard First Aid Certificate, with level C CPR
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Well-developed problem-solving skill.
- Positive and sensitive attitude towards children and staff.
- Flexible and energetic approach to work.
- Physically able to participate with children indoors and outdoor recreational setting.
- Must be fully vaccinated and follow all provincial protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
