Preparing and Executing meal service for a variety of different events such as weddings, meetings and celebrations for groups of 10 to 600
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures for preparation, storage and serving of food
- Prepare meals in accordance with standardized recipes
- Check food and kitchen supplies; ensure cooking utensils, pans, and other equipment are kept in a clean and sanitary condition
- Ensure all food preparation and kitchen is cleaned and ready for next shift
- Participate in menu creations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills** **Excellent English communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and staff**
- Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
- Safe and effective knife skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in food service abilities
- Mature in judgment and behavior
- Ability to multi-task
- Be punctual
- Contribute to a positive working atmosphere

**Reports to: Executive Chef**

**Hours**: Shifts dependent on business activity - days, nights & weekends

**Requirements**:

- Must have reliable transportation outside of bus schedules
- 3 Years experience in a commercial kitchen
- Capable of working successfully in a team environment as well as independently
- Must have Safe Food Handler Certification (can be obtained once hired)

**Job Type: Part-time but Full-time hours can be offered during the many busy periods**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
