Job Summary:
The Product Coordinator is responsible for creating all new hotel profiles. The role requires the input of all contracts for both new product and amendments to existing products. This includes entering all rates, allotments, promotions, blackout provisions, contact information and special remarks. These tasks must be done with accuracy and within a timely manner. Responsible to review all daily reservations and ensure confirmations are received and precise. We will need to communicate daily with suppliers on reservation details; remove any discrepancies; follow up on requests and cancellations.The role takes on the task of product review, implementation, Q & A, and support while following TICO regulation guidelines. For this role the Product Coordinator will need to be fully proficient in all product operations of static contracts using the systems and platform where the Porter Escapes’ packaged product is housed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Create hotel profiles in database for both costing systems and website pages.
- Input hotel rates, promotions, contract extensions, renovation notices, rate revisions, stop sells, supplier information and all other data entries for Porter Escapes’ business partners including hotel, ground transportation, activities and miscellaneous products.
- Verify the accuracy of data entry and product information on a constant basis.
- Daily review of reservations with hotels and communicate any adjustments or change requests.
- Review inventory levels and communicate with suppliers where additional inventory is needed.
- Follow up with suppliers on extended releases, product updates, and contract extensions to ensure product is available.
- Assist Travel Planner group and other team members with the day to day product requests and information requests.
- Assist with sales report analysis
- Troubleshoot issues with suppliers.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations: understand, comply, and promote the company safety policy.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education with a university degree
- TICO certification will be required
- Bi-lingual English/French an asset
- Experience in an analytical role
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge using the Google platform and experience with web based tools and the internet
- Must have ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel when required
