**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures competently and expediently
- Collect, label, and safely transport blood, urine, and other specimens
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Interact with patients professionally and compassionately
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Process samples for testing in the laboratory

**Requirements**:

- Certification in Phlebotomy or relevant field
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proficiency in phlebotomizing patients of all ages
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Taking blood (phlebotomy), processing urine tests.

General organization and cleanliness

Injection certified, assist Physicians in daily routines

**You have 2 years of phlebotomy experience and medical office admin experience.**

You are organized, and able to work in a fast paced environment

You can multi-task

Excellent interpersonal skills

**Wages**

Negotiable depending on experience $20-$23/hr

**Environment**

We operate 3 clinics in Cambridge, Milton, and Orangeville and this would be a mobile position where the phlebotomist would travel to these locations for work.

COVID-19 considerations:
Full Covid 19 protocols in Clinic, PPE supplied

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 hours a week

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Full Temp checks, hand sanitizing stations, Covid Screening, barriers.

**Experience**:

- phlebotomy: 2 year (required)
- Medical office: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Phlebotomy Certificate (required)
- Injection certification start date: 2022-04-25

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
