The Automotive Parts Person maintains the parts shelves for the UPS Automotive shop. The incumbent stocks and inspects the parts shelves to ensure we have the correct inventory quantities. This position travels between UPS shops and parts vendors to pick-up/deliver parts on a regular basis. The incumbent maintains inventory files and ships parts as needed.
**Job Type**:Full-Time Permanent
**Work Location**:5960 FERGUSON RD RICHMOND, BC V7B 1M6 Canada.
**Workdays**:Monday to Friday
**Shift Hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and monitor parts inventory for delivery trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Coordinate daily with Automotive Technicians, Supervisors, and vendors to fulfill parts needs.
- Pick up and drop off parts between UPS centers and vendor locations.
- Accurately track and document all parts movements using UPS systems and spreadsheets.
- Support procurement processes and maintain proper stock levels by initiating timely reorders.
- Keep the parts storage area clean, organized, and audit ready.
- Use Excel, Outlook, and internal computer systems to communicate, log, and report inventory activities.
**Requirement**:
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Automotive background in parts preferred.
- Understanding of Automotive systems and associated parts descriptions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
- Previous experience in parts coordination, inventory management, or a related automotive environment is an asset.
**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**:
- Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit
