The most important aspect of our company’s operations is our dedicated people; **_our people will always be the source of our success and their safety and health will always come first_**.* We are currently seeking a **_Call Taker _**in our **Winnipeg Office *to join our team.
Complete call-taking activities, ensuring that complete and accurate information is gathered from customers. Normal days for this position are Monday to Friday. The hours of working may change based on operational and customer requirements.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answer incoming calls from customers ensuring accurate and detailed information is gathered
- Input pickup information in the city pickup and delivery computer system
- Communicate with customers, city dispatchers, etc, regarding service requirement
- Telephone customer's special needs, such as late pickups
- Joins in Safety initiatives and programs
- Contributes and partakes in team activities and tasks

**Qualifications**
Some secondary education with experience within an office environment is required. Strong communication skills with proven ability to facilitate with dispatch operations. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a strong customer focus to manage competing tasks. Experience with Gardewine or similar driver computer system preferred. Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail. Able to work effectively in a fast paced and diverse team environment. Good knowledge of local P&D and warehousing activities would be an asset.
