**JOB OVERVIEW**
The Marketing, Events, and Admin Coordinator will play a key role in supporting ACADA's operations, marketing initiatives, and event planning.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Marketing, Events, and Admin Coordinator will work closely with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator and support the Office Manager. This dynamic position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including supporting marketing initiatives, organizing events, and performing general administrative tasks based on the individual's experience and strengths.
The Marketing, Events, and Admin Coordinator will be instrumental in enhancing the organization's brand presence and fostering community engagement through various outreach activities. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
The responsibilities of the **Marketing, Events, and Admin Coordinator**include (but are not limited to):
**Marketing**
- Administer social media channels, including creating and scheduling content
- Support the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote the organization, brand and related programs/services, the industry, and its members and related capabilities.
- Assist the Communications and Engagement Coordinator in maintaining and updating the ACADA website.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator to design and develop creative communication and marketing products that enable the success of ACADA’s strategic goals.
- Support media relation activities (tasks may include drafting new releases, blog content development, identification, and selection of media channels, etc.).
**Event Planning and Coordination**
- Coordinate the full event planning process and provide support for the planning, management, and execution of ACADA conferences, industry events, training sessions, trade missions, etc. for both in-person and virtual events.
- Create and manage an annual events calendar to create awareness and proactive planning and coordination within the organization.
- Conduct research to understand member needs, including sourcing feedback from past events, and bring forward innovative ways to offer events to members that add value and are in line with ACADA’s mandate.
**Administrative Support**
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management, including the CEO, the Director of Operations, and Office Manager.
- Assist the Office Manager with maintaining office systems and updating the CRM.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior management and team.
- Handle internal and external communications.
- Perform general office tasks and support virtual operations as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or another relevant field or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Experience in marketing, event coordination, and/or administrative roles required.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering high quality event experiences, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders, contract management, and post-event evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete design work for social/newsletter/print materials in Canva.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
- Industry knowledge and awareness of the aerospace, defence, and security sector considered an asset.
- Bilingual French/English considered an asset.
- Some travel within the Atlantic Provinces will be required.
Salary range for the position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
