**Summary**
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing RECEs/ECE Apprentices to join our team at Whitehills Childcare Association. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environments for children, allowing them to thrive and develop during their formative years.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical needs through engaging play and interaction.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in early childhood education.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on child development.
- Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere for children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of working with children with disabilities is an asset.
- **Please note**: Whitehills Childcare Association verifies that RECEs are in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators and no violations in practice have occurred through the Ministry of Education.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Pay: $22.47-$24.86 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
