We are a National company that is looking for a **Warehouse Team Lead / Foreman** to oversee the efficient storage and dispatch of goods in our Edmonton Facility.

As the **Warehouse Team Lead / Foreman,**you are a hand's on member of your team. You will oversee and liaise with colleagues to ensure stock is maintained and moved efficiently. Your key task is to organize the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods and, ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and delivered in the time frames promised. You will lead by example and will pitch in with your team on the floor to ensure all commitments are met efficiently and effectively.

**You are**:

- Highly motivated, physically fit, with several years (3-5) of progressively more responsible leadership experience safely coaching and directing a warehouse team and operating a busy warehouse (Shipping/Receiving/Yard), ideally in the wholesale plumbing/heating/HVAC, or similar, industry.
- Someone with proven administration, communication (verbal/written), people management and team building skills, who is passionate about their responsibilities, is seen as a health and safety champion, and can identify the best talents of employees so they can be successful and build a career within the company.
- Someone known to have a strong work ethic and is results oriented
- Someone with a Grade 12 and possibly post secondary education as well as job specific courses obtained as warehouse career evolved

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead a safety culture within the team. Ensure Health and Safety compliance
- Is responsible for the continued performance and development of staff by identifying training needs and developing skill sets and competencies.
- Responsible for checking incoming vendor shipments for accuracy and condition
- Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs of all warehouse and yard facilities
- Is responsible for meeting warehouse performance goals according to financial metrics.
- Understands and consistently administers policies and procedures

**Salary**: $67,614.00-$85,000.00 per year
