You execute high levels of quality and service by using both manual and powered tools (e.g., riding lawnmowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, shovels, rakes). By exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. **Location**:1247 Loudoun Road, Winnipeg, MB, R3S 1A4 **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers. - Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate. - Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available. - Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader. - Applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed applicator, and with all required protective equipment. - Performs other duties as required. **Working Conditions**: - Works outdoors in a variety of conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and in dusty environments - Willingness to work shifts 8-10 hours in length with occasional (paid) overtime - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. **Job Requirements**: - Valid class 5 drivers license and clean driving abstract - High school diploma/GED (or current student status) - Minimum of 1-year experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred - Strong written, verbal, and active listening skills - Able to work independently and with a team - Close attention to detail **Benefits** - Flexibility - We value having a healthy work-life balance, so every other Monday is a scheduled day off - Benefits package available after 3 months - Bonus program which is activated your first day of work and paid out monthly - RSP matching program available after 1 year of employment - We love to see you grow All resources provided to advance throughout the company - Interested in pursuing a career in horticulture?
