**PART TIME BGC PROGRAM LEADERS NEEDED**

**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Program Leader(s) are responsible for the day to day implementation of after-school and evening drop-in programs for children and youth. This position will work closely with a small team to deliver fun, safe and adventurous programming to children and youth aged 7-17, in line with the Boys and Girls Club Core Programming.
- Will need to have valid First Aid (or obtain within first 3 months of employment).
- Will assist in the planning and implementation of exciting, challenging, safe and adventurous programming in line with the Boys and Girls Club ‘Model for Success’.
- Will be 16 years of age of older.
- Have a strong desire to work with children and youth.
- Provide quality experiences and to be a positive role model in a child’s life.
- Must complete agency screening process.

This position is a part time/casual (3-15 Hours Per week), typically between 2:30pm and 9:00pm, Monday through Thursday (occasional weekends may be required). This is a temporary position until May 31, 2020, with an excellent possibility of extension.

This position includes working with Children between the ages of 7 and 12 in an after-school setting. Kids are at their most vulnerable between the hours of 3:00pm and 6:00pm, which is why we step in to offer services. When schools out, Clubs are in

**Salary**: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
