Our team is growing We are looking to hire a Training Specialist with experience in Wealth Management and Insurance

Our Training Specialists are primarily responsible for the delivery of learning to Sun Life Financial Distribution (SLFD) advisors and leaders. They also play an instrumental role in providing input and feedback to the development and maintenance of learning content, and making related updates as needed.

Training in scope includes but is not limited to: onboarding; relationship and sales management; sales tools; leadership and business development; and compliance. Training specialists are assigned to one or more streams of training and to one or more audiences.

Our Training Specialists ensure that we provide an exceptional learning experience to our learners, while contributing to and aligning with the business growth plans. This position will report directly into the Director of Content and Strategy

**What will you do?**
- Execute the training strategy in relation to the assigned training content stream(s) and audience(s)
- Deliver training content in workshops, forums and other learning events as required
- Delivering train-the-trainer sessions as needed to identified audiences (e.g., other training specialists, managers)
- Manage synchronous and asynchronous interactions with the learners before, during, and after learning events
- Identify learning needs and helping develop new or update existing training content
- Identify the best blend of delivery mechanisms and strategies for each training program (e.g., self-paced, VILT, classroom, multimedia, etc.)
- Participate in the development of sales tools, sales ideas and concepts used in the Client Interaction Model, and building appropriate training material as necessary to support those tools/ideas/concepts
- Work with the key business partners to evaluate the impact of business initiatives on the assigned training content stream(s) and audience(s)
- Review and provide sign-off on applicable training material as needed, prior to submission for approval
- Collaborate to produce and maintain learning program collateral for training events, workshops, and forums

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Full professional capacity in French and English (Bilingual)
- Minimum 3 years of related corporate experience in wealth management, financial services, and/or insurance
- Strong knowledge of investment management industry and products and services within the financial services market
- A passion for providing engaging learner-centric experiences through facilitation, instruction and task tension
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills
- The ability use online presentation and engagement tools (e.g., Zoom, PowerPoint)
- The ability to excel within a team environment and participate in collaborative, consultative decision-making
- The ability to take direction and use critical thinking to complete work within established deadlines
- Strong initiative for continuous improvement of themselves, the process, the team, and the learner experience
- A relentless commitment to ethical behavior, excellence, and making a difference
- For Quebec Only - Bilingualism (French, English) required
- support tasks for an English-speaking team outside Quebec

**We Consider As Your Assets**
- Prior financial services experience, preferably in wealth management
- Previously / currently registered to sell mutual funds
- CFP, CLU or other industry designations
- Certification in Adult Learning or related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Sun Life Financial Distribution (SLFD) and its Client sales process
- Ability to travel on occasion
