**About the Role**:
This role requires excellent attention to detail, experience with testing standards and procedures, and the ability to interpret civil and structural engineering documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials testing services including concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates, based on drawings, specs, and client requirements.
- Review project documentation such as tender packages, construction drawings, and geotechnical reports.
- Develop proposals and quotations for testing services, ensuring all scopes and specifications are accurately reflected.
- Maintain and update cost databases, supplier and subcontractor lists, and internal pricing models.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Monitor ongoing project costs, comparing actual to estimated expenditures, and provide variance reports.
- Assist with scheduling and planning of testing activities based on awarded contracts.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Completion of a diploma or college program in civil engineering technology, construction management, or a related field
- Familiarity with CSA and ASTM testing standards.
- Knowledge of concrete, asphalt, and soil testing procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software/tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Driver's License Class 5
