Early Childhood Educator/supervisor

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator with a minimum ECE level 1 to work as an ECE and supervisor for a term contract ending June 1, 2025. There would be potential to continue as an ECE after the term contract is expired.
- **Qualifications**_
- Meets or exceeds the qualifications of an ECE I
- At least 18 years of age
- Good physical, mental, and emotional health
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- CPIC - police check
- Good moral character
- A willingness to continue upgrading through conferences and other available resources
- A genuine liking and desire to work with children
- An ability to work well with a team, in a cooperative and professional manner
- An ability to communicate with staff, Executive Director, parents, and other professionals

- **Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Act in place of the Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Director
- Report to the Executive Director
- Provide additional support to the Executive Director and other staff with a focus on maintaining a good staff morale
- Complete reports as required by the Executive Director
- Ensure all policies and procedures of the Centre are followed
- Report maintenance problems and safety hazards to the Executive Director
- Perform all duties expected of an Early Childhood Educator

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
