**About you**

You are someone with a university degree in accounting, finance, or business and have a recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA, etc.), with over 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis, and have strong analytical skills and a sound knowledge of financial & accounting procedures. You have strong knowledge of financial practices and principles, financial and business intelligence software, and applicable regulations and standards. You are someone organized, and self-motivated, with good communication skills and a client-service orientated. You are detail-oriented, dependable, cooperative, and stress-tolerant, with the ability to take initiative and be persistent. You are proficient in MS Excel and Power Query, as well as have experience with MS Dynamics GP or Dynamics 365, MS Power BI, DAX, and M language, MS Office 365, MS Power Automate, and MS SQL Server databases. Fluency in English is required. Your knowledge of the French language and BOARD software will be considered an asset.

**About the role**

**Key duties and responsibilities**:
**Budgeting and Analysis**
- Maintain multi-year budgets for all active grants and revenue sources.
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the Senior Manager, FP&A, and the Finance Director, Budgeting and Compliance.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead the organization's quarterly budget adjustment, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Produce ad-hoc reports and financial analysis when requested, translating information and requirements into meaningful insights
- Support presentations to the Board of Directors and Executive Management Committee.

**Financial Systems and Data**
- Lead the enhancement of systems and databases used for budgeting and analysis.
- Produce and leads process flows, internal controls, and user guidance.
- Improve and standardizes the use of existing budgeting/financial tools.

**Management & Training**
- Train and supervises staff, mentors team members, and organizes training sessions on financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with IT/IM on financial systems, data security, and the development of a strong data strategy.
- Perform other duties as required.
