Stem Camp Instuctor

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Understand and execute the proper curriculum for the program being delivered with excitement.
- Facilitate hands-on experiments and projects that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Provide individualized support to campers, ensuring each child understands the concepts being taught.
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and collaboration among campers.
- Monitor camper progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance the overall camp experience through shared ideas and resources.
- Ensure that all resources are present for the program deliverables and having adequate communication with Operations Manager when supplies, resources or training is required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in tutoring or early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with children and communicate with parents/guardians effectively.
- A background in education or health sciences is preferred, preferably with at least some university or college level education.
- Must be patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of campers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in activity planning and execution.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
