**Position Overview**
As a Seasonal Retail Associate at our Mississauga store, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the store. You will support the store manager in overseeing customer service, inventory management, staff coordination, and overall store performance. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for customer service, team leadership, and a desire to contribute to the success of a growing business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Lead by example by providing outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Work with a team of sales associates to meet company standards and performance goals.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, organization, and regular audits.
- Help manage the store’s visual merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and consistently.
- Handle cash, process transactions, and ensure accurate cash register operation.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is secure and well-maintained at all times.
- Support promotional efforts and drive sales through product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment that reflects InSchoolwear's values.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of retail or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate both customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to achieving store goals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Knowledge of school uniform products or a background in retail apparel is an asset, but not required.
