**DISTRICT OPERATIONS MANAGER**:
Our team in **Calgary** currently has an opening for a **District Operations Manager**
**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Operations**:
- Operation Analyze the performance of our sites and take action to improve lead time, blending time and warehouse management
- Analyze and take action to standardize the best practices from our sites
- Integrate maintenance management to support the performance our sites
- Build by site, their investment program to sustain and develop our sites
- Control our needs in containers to support our business
- Experience and knowledge in operating internal fleet would be an asset
- Use transport management system tool to make sure we optimize our cost of transportation
- Manage your sites with data to understand the trend in our business
- Assist in forming business plans for operational and other new commercial business ventures.
- Create continuous improvement project to support Brenntag Excellence
**Finance**:
- Control weekly Overtime
- Analyze our monthly cost vs budget
- Establish a monthly forecast per site
- By doing monthly write off, cycle count, product disposal and correction WMS, control your inventory management
- Working with Indirect procurement, develop a cost reduction program by site
- Create project CAT4 to generate savings
**Health and Safety**:
- Promote management by walking around
- Promote the creation of nearnisses per employee
- Establish and realize the schedule of fire drill, inspection, meeting with city fire department, simulations.
- Improve housekeeping of each site
- Proceed yearly risk assessment in each site
- Review et improve (if necessary) our politicies and rules
- Engage employee to collaborate to the H&S committee
**Quality**:
- Follow up on our claim system to make sure our customer get an answer with a corrective action
- Improve our performance by measuring the first pass test when we are doing blend
- Follow up on our sample management system to make sure our supplier has a quick response
**Human Resources**:
- Follow up your headcount and the status of your recruitment
- Support your sites when need for temporary needs with temporary employees
- Follow up your headcount and the status of your recruitment
- Must posses strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills
- Manage and provide leadership for all supervisors and direct reporting employees
- Create a good engagement with an efficient communication and meeting plan
- Establish your recognition plan to support your team
- Complete performance management every year
