Primoris Canada is a infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

**SUMMARY**

The Quality Control NDE Technician is responsible for performing the daily site inspections and preparation of inspection reports or other such reports as detailed in the Quality Control Manual and the NDE procedures.

Location: Fabrication Shop - 17th Street Edmonton

**JOB DUTIES**
- Perform and report NDE inspections as outlined in the request.
- Assist other Inspectors in the course of their duties.
- Perform and record material verification as required.
- Clear understanding of, NDE procedures, & NDE specifications and tolerances for all work in process.
- Perform and report all final NDE inspections as per the Quality Assurance System and the WD
- Participate in the investigation of non-conformances and corrective action resolution as required.
- Upon completion of inspections, advise production personnel of results.
- Timely completion of all required NDE reports for job files and turnover packages to meet the construction schedule.
- Build effective relationships with coworkers that reflect and support core company values.
- Actively participate in company safety procedures and programs, correct unsafe work practices and situations, follow reporting protocols for any violations, and participate in the Hazard identification process.
- Various other duties as requested by management

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- CGSB MT2 & PT2
- Experience performing hardness testing
- Sound knowledge of all N.D.E processes used in the industry

**SKILLS**
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to interact with all levels of management
- Detail-orientated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
- Organized and self-motivated
