**Job description**

This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limited to:

- Oversee and manage monthly accounting closes and forecasts.
- Create monthly cash flow statements and plans, maintaining a local cash management function.
- Oversee insurance renewals
- Lead annual budgets and audits.
- Lead tax compliance function.
- Develop and streamline procedures to improve accounting efficiency.
- Analyze the business to improve efficiencies and margins.
- Prepare long term projections and proformas and support company planning and forecasting calendar.
- Complete weekly bank reconciliations and reporting of the daily cash positions.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Managing Payroll
- Review contracts to identify potential accounting and revenue recognition issues.
- Participate in management meetings.
- Support the development of improved financial reporting processes and policies as requested

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in a accounting firm or industry accounting with proven ability to work with financial reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, foreign currency issues, month-end close procedures, forecasting and budgeting processes, financial eliminations and consolidations, SOX controls, and external audit procedures.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- In accordance with Skymart policies, you will be required to undergo a background check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
