- This position will be hybrid at our Mississauga, ON Derry Road West location
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the BDI business with key marketing and operation processes to optimize the customer experience.
The individual will be very collaborative and demonstrate the ability to work closely with the marketing team and sales team as well as other business partners. Strong analytical skills, communication skills, customer focus, attention to detail, coupled with an inquiring and proactive approach will be keys to success. Coordination of all activities takes place in a real-time environment: timely determination and execution of the appropriate response to change is daily work.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Manage customer order allocation and customer communication related to supply
- Provide inventory data, delivery information and general support to the sales and marketing teams
- Logistical coordination for product activations, discontinuation and product changes
- Escalate issues, as needed, to marketing, supply chain or sales for resolution of critical customer challenges
- Coordination of samples required for customer evaluations or events
- Other duties assigned and as required
**About you**:
- Excellent analytical skills and proven excel expertise
- Excellent communication skills; experience working in customer service an asset
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and timelines
- Process improvement experience highly desired
- Working knowledge of general supply chain processes is an asset
**Education and experience required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
