**Summary of Position**
Reporting to the foreman, operators are an integral member of field operations, responsible for providing support on all of our projects.
**Role and Responsibilities**
Move material, such as pipe, around site to meet project demands
Need experience on a loader, excavator with a hoe pack, padfoot packer, bobcat
Backfill around project sites as needed
Experience operating around utilities in a congested area
Keep inventory in laydown
Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications, Training and Education**
Asset to run dozer & track loader
Able to lift 50 lbs. unaided
Must have proven success working with personnel and equipment on road rehab, curb and gutter, asphalt breaking and commercial projects.
Excellent motivational skills.
Proven troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work under high stress situations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
**Working Conditions**
Workers are expected to be able to do physically demanding work in different positions (kneeling, standing, etc.). They will spend a large portion of their time operating a piece of equipment. The successful applicants will be working outdoors in dusty and underground environments, including sewers, through all weather conditions.
