**Master Planner** - Optimizing Production and Fulfilling Customer Commitments

Job Location: Saint-Leonard (Head Office), with availability to travel to support all business units.

**Job Profile**

The Master Planner, reporting to the Director of Operations, is responsible for ensuring our commitment to customer satisfaction is upheld in a multi-site environment. This role involves developing production schedules, managing inventory to maintain appropriate levels, coordinating the availability of raw materials, optimizing capacity utilization, and analyzing and reporting on actual customer demand, trends, and forecast to adjust capacity plans accordingly.

**Key Responsibilities**

Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.

Work with customer base to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.

Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy, interact with functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.

Schedule demand based on product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to the customer service team across multiple product lines.

Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to business, shipment, inventory, and production plans.

Provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process concerning incoming volume and capacity.

Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times.

Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.

Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules.

Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control.

Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of relevant Supply Chain planning experience. At least 3 years as a Master Planner. Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering. In-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning. Experience leading a team. Bilingual; excellent communication skills in both English and French. Proven track record of improving process efficiencies and as a change agent. Demonstrated ability to work with, and through, people from diverse backgrounds to deliver business objectives. Experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
