**Job Summary**:
We are looking for math tutors who can help students with grade 11/12 calculus. Sessions will be at the student's home in Burnaby, New West, Coquitlam, Surrey or North/West Van.

We match our tutors and students together carefully. This is a 'feel good' job. Students gain confidence and get closer to achieving their academic goals and future careers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
- Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
- Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
- Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
- Offering feedback on progress to students' parents
