Part-Time Primary Educator
Oxford Learning, Ajax is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable teacher who enjoys working with students in Kindergarten to Grade 3. Teachers in our Beyond Tutoring Program offer individualized instruction, guidance and support to students to improve their core academic skills (reading, writing and/or math), thinking skills, and learning strategies. This opportunity offers 6-12 hours of rewarding teaching experience per week.
- BA or BSc and a Bachelor of Education Degree (an asset)
- Two or more years of teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong English oral and written communication skills. Strong math skills are an asset.
- Organization skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to motivate students and build their confidence
- Live within a 20 km radius from Ajax
