**Job Description**:
Reporting into the Sr. Manager of Product Strategy, the Analyst - Product Strategy is a supporting role for the creation and alignment of comprehensive and well-researched product and collection strategies. The Analyst will act as a key resource to support the establishment of clear goals and benchmarks that support the long-term Corporate and Collection Strategies. This role requires an individual who can think big picture to provide long term product strategy, have their finger on the pulse of trend and style direction, and be able to synthesize information into clear action items.

This is a multi-dimensional role, that will touch all aspects of the Canada Goose business and requires the ability to understand the interworking of partner departments to meet the end objective. This requires someone who can work in an agile environment, is self-motivated and can think outside of the box to drive results.

This role will focus on building, maintaining, and cultivating key relationships with external as well as internal cross functional partners.

**About the role**:

- Support the research of global trends, aggregate consumer and cultural insights into macro themes and build suggestions to support Merchandising Leadership and the broader Product and Commercial community
- Conduct research and analyze directional youth culture, tracking trends 12-18 months in advance, to feed into global macro trend and future product trend reports developed ahead of each seasonal creative launch
- Support the regional Market Merchants to develop insight into their local markets and ensure merchandising recommendations are understood
- Analyze new Product Category opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership
- Develop consumer insights that inform Category/Collection Strategies and product direction and create value propositions for the consumer
- Facilitate strategic cross-functional category/collection strategy process through thought leadership, problem solving, detailed analysis, workshop facilitation and building recommendations
- Be point person on building presentations for annual Season Kick Offs to ensure Canada Goose achieves both financial targets and is in alignment with Market trend
- Support and analyze the work from trend forecasting agencies in key cities across the globe as well as a partner closely with Insights Team
- Serve up relevant and actionable opportunities to Global and Regional Merchandising.
- Partner with other researchers within the consumer insights community of practice to develop holistic and robust consumer insights.
- Champion consumer centricity through establishment of product feedback loops to all cross-functional partners and merchandising leadership
- Travel throughout marketplace to understand brand opportunities (COVID-19 permitting)

**Experience, Education and Designations**:

- 5 years of relevant industry experience, luxury apparel company or retailer required, with a focus on Strategy and Workshop Facilitation
- Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations on strategic questions
- Proven ability to lead large projects covering multiple departments/stakeholders
- MBA, MS or other advanced professional degree, or an undergraduate degree in a discipline that teaches quantitative analysis and critical thinking (e.g., business, marketing)
- Must be fluent in English
