**Salary**: $42.71

**The Role**:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Marketing and Student Recruitment, the Supervisor, Student Ambassador Program is a key member of the Marketing and Student Recruitment team. The incumbent oversees and coordinates all aspects of the Student Ambassador program, an important resource and influence in the prospective/applicant student decision making journey, and a key tool in the Recruitment team’s goal for the delivery of superior campus experiences for all prospective students considering the University as their post-secondary destination.

The incumbent will train, mentor, motivate, and direct 30-40 student workers involved in providing campus tours and recruitment event support, as well as other student workers who support the student recruitment social media accounts, office administrative functions, and special projects. The Supervisor, Student Ambassador Program oversees all administrative functions related to the program, from the recruiting, hiring, entering of contracts, time entry approval, administrative support, as well as performance management of the student workers in the program.

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**:
University degree in: business, education, leadership, marketing or communications

**Skills and Experience**:

- Student development understanding / understanding of youth employment
- Experience hiring, developing, mentoring, training and leading student staff
- People management / leadership
- Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management;
- Presentation, public speaking and communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Diplomacy and confidentiality;
- Trainer/facilitator experience Superior research & writing skills;
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Adaptable and resourceful
- The incumbent must be able to function independently, and autonomously, as well as handle sensitive or confidential material in the appropriate manner
- Understanding and appreciation of diverse populations and ongoing commitment to championing equity, diversity and inclusion
- Project management or event planning experience is an asset
