**Summary of Duties**:
Reporting to the Principal/designate, the TA - Supervision Aide provides assistance to teachers (including counsellors and teacher librarians) and to the Principal/ school office, using both computerized and manual systems. The emphasis in duties will vary for each position, based on ongoing school needs.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12 Graduation (including Information Technology courses)
- Proven success in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with children and adults
- Language programs require fluency in both English and an alternate language (both written and spoken)
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Some knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment

OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
**Desirable** Qualifications and Experience**:

- St. John's Ambulance-Emergency First Aid Certificate or SOFA with CPR
- Keyboarding skills
- Post-secondary courses in Child Development
- Successful applicants not currently employed by West Vancouver Schools are required to sign a “consent for Criminal Record Search” to permit a criminal record review._
