**Job Overview**:
Stay Pooched Petcare is looking for a reliable and animal-loving individual to join our team as a _Casual Dog Walker_. This is a part-time, on-call contract position ideal for someone who is already working in the pet care industry or looking to gain more experience. Walks are private, on-leash, and take place in North Vancouver. Many of the dogs have reactivity or leash manners to work on, so experience with behavior-focused walks is a plus.

**We value positive reinforcement only**—this is non-negotiable. We’re looking for someone who aligns with our compassionate, force-free philosophy and who can build trusting relationships with both dogs and their humans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide private, on-leash dog walks for a variety of breeds and sizes
- Use positive reinforcement methods to manage reactivity or leash challenges
- Communicate clearly with clients and our team about dog behavior, needs, and any concerns
- Follow owner instructions for each pet, including any feeding or medication if needed
- Maintain a clean environment—always pick up after dogs
- Keep a timely, organized walking schedule
- Occasionally take on house sitting shifts as requested (day rate paid)
