Hamilton, Canada The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club Full time

Executes food preparation and collaborates with other Line Cooks to prepare food to the Chef's specifications. Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
- _**Responsibilities**:_
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- _**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:_
- 2 years kitchen experience is an asset
- Food Handlers certificate is an asset
- Proficient in health and safety rules and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with high pressure environments

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
