We're seeking an energetic and reliable Part-Time Deckhand to join our team at **Fox-Sea Roxy Adventures** Come aboard our stunning 1993 38' Chris Craft Continental and help us create unforgettable experiences for up to 12 guests as we cruise the beautiful waters of Vancouver.

**About the Role**:
As our Part-Time Deckhand, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our charter cruises and the safety and enjoyment of our guests. You'll work closely with the Captain to provide exceptional service and create lasting memories.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include Assisting the Captain With**:

- Docking and anchoring the vessel.
- Maintaining a keen lookout for any potential hazards while underway.
- Interacting with guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Ensuring guests' comfort and safety throughout the charter.
- Assisting with light boat maintenance and keeping the vessel tidy.
- Helping with the pre-departure checklist (30-60 minutes before each charter).
- Assisting with the post-charter review to ensure the boat is secure and ready for the next booking (30-60 minutes after each charter).
- Any other tasks as needed to support the Captain and ensure a successful charter.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A valid Transport Canada **Small Domestic Vessel Basic Safety (SDB-BS)** certificate (formerly MED A3). Please be prepared to show us your certification.
- A **Serving It Right** certificate is highly recommended.
- Ideally, at least **1 year of experience** in a similar role or on the water.
- A basic understanding of marine mechanics is a plus
- The ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to safety.
- Must be organized and able to manage your time effectively.
