Edmonton, Canada Complete Care Restoration Services, Ltd. Full time

Complete Care Restoration is a COR certified restoration company and we’re looking for a full time Safety Coordinator to join our team. While we have a good health and safety management system in place, we’re looking for a full time employee to take what we have built and continue to implement, enforce, and improve it.
- JOB DUTIES:

- Responsible for the overall management and implementation of the company health and safety management system.
- Lead our COR Audit Program. Applicant must have an ACSA recognized auditor certification.
- Conduct new hire training and re-assignment training for new hires and workers changing positions.
- Must be able to be authoritative and enforcing, but compassionate and patient when training and handling incident investigations.
- Responsible for regular safety reporting including weekly project reporting, monthly management reporting, and annual statistics development.
- Organize and present company-wide monthly safety meetings.
- Organize and present quarterly Safety Committee Meetings.
- Complete regular office and work site safety inspections.
- Assist and train employees on filling out safety forms, like FLHAs or Incident Report forms.
- Oversee safety processes and medical aid requirements for large losses, often in remote areas.
- Utilize Site Docs for documentation and verifying program compliance.
- Work with HR and oversee safety related training for employees, like First Aid or Fall Protection.
- Work with Senior Management to revise Formal Hazard Assessments and Training Program.
- Coordinate with Shop Manager for maintenance and inspection needs.
- Initiate, conduct, and record emergency response drills annually.
- Maintain knowledge or current and changing safety standards and communicating to the team.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must have one of the following certifications/designations or an equivalent:

- CSO or NCSO
- CRSP
- HSA or NHSA
- Clean criminal record check - no exceptions
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clear 3 year Driver’s Abstract
- EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
- Experience with high risk construction and restoration considered an asset
- Experience with Site Docs considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
