**Description**:
**Financial Officer Responsibilities and Duties**:
Handle company’s financial records and maintain various accounts using online bookkeeping systems

Handle general ledger bookkeeping

Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities

Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books

Responsible for Accounts Receivable management

Prepare month-end credit and Accounts Receivable analysis reports

Calculate and prepare payroll for employees

Assist in the preparation of tax documents for employees

Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other documents

Review financial information and documents quarterly and annual basis

Prepare financial and accounting to senior-level managers

Prepare Sales and Statistics Reports

Financial Officer qualifications and skills
- Post-secondary college or university certificate, diploma or degree is required
- At least one year of relevant accounting experience as a financial officer, accounting technician or a bookkeeper
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian accounting processes and procedures
- Well-organized, multi-tasking and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Wage**: $36.50 CAD per hour

**Language**: English
