**Position**: Instructor - Education Assistant

**Reports to**:Campus Director

**Job Status**: Part Time, Remote

**Hours**: Morning 9am-2pm (Monday to Friday)

**Location**:Vancouver Career College, Burnaby, Abbotsford and Coquitlam Campuses, BC

**Pay**: $28- $30 per hour

**Your Day to Day**:
Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:

- Engage professionally with students, staff, and instructors.
- Deliver curriculum-based instruction effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans and use diverse teaching methods.
- Monitor and discuss student progress individually and in groups.
- Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
- Maintain compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings, evaluations, and orientation sessions as required.
- Submit attendance, records, and final grades promptly.
- Update and maintain course materials.
- Arrange make-up sessions for missed classes.
- Stay current with industry knowledge and professional development.

**Requirements**:

- Degree/diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience; instructional experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to inspire and support students while maintaining professionalism.
- Commitment to collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
