**Do you have what it takes?**

As an **AZ Driver** you will be responsible for short-haul, local / regional deliveries of steel to a variety of customers all over Ontario. You will be operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport either Rebar or Structural steel to one of our many customers.

**_SIGNING & RETENTION BONUS_ Eligible to receive $7500 in bonuses over the first 15 months of employment.**

**Core Duties**
- Operating and driving straight or articulate trucks to transport goods and materials
- Hauling steel - structural/reinforcing steel on a flat-bed trailer
- Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights and brakes
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
- Complete driver log book, inspection reports, accident / incident reports

**Education / Experience**
- Valid AZ License /Air brake (Z) endorsement
- Flatbed experience and experience hauling steel would be preferred
- Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate
- Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
- Criminal record check, driving record check, medical exam, drug test
- Sound knowledge of safe driving practices
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset
- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred
