**Overview**:
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work independently on a variety of projects as outlined by the Director, Project Management.
- Support RFP’s clients through the design phase and into the submittal drawing phase as required.
- Provide both Project Management and Design expertise as required.
- Take responsibility for all project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration.
- Produce weekly project status reports identifying any potential challenges, project costs to date and projected spending to senior management.
- Maintain an accurate schedule for all active projects indicating the progress of all internal and external departments (Design, Fabrication, Procurement and Installation).
- Manage client expectations by leading regular client meetings providing detailed updates on project progress using a variety of tools such as visual aids, project reports and project tracking documents.
- Limit RFP’s risk by leading all client meetings with a clear and organized agenda using RFP’s standard format, followed up with clear documentation summarizing client and RFP’s commitments and/or required deliverables.
- Demonstrate a high level of budget awareness providing direction to all departments that support adherence to project budget and schedule.
- Work closely with the Project Leads and Technical team to ensure that project execution plans are optimized for efficiency.
- Review and understand all documentation such as contracts, schedules and drawing packages for assigned projects.
- Continuously seek to improve your knowledge of RFP’s unique service offering including seeking out new materials, processes and fabrication techniques.
- Review shop drawings and packages as required to gain an in-dept understanding of project requirements.
- Act as the primary conduit for project information across multiple project stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Facilitate detailed sample review meetings ensuring the highest level of client confidence by presenting organized and clearly labeled samples and mockups.
- Address site issues by providing timely and appropriate solutions.
- Monitor site work and flag work that is not completed in accordance to design intent.
- Prepare and present change orders to clients in a timely manner for approval.

**Required Qualifications**:Work Experience, Skills and Abilities
- 5 years’ experience in a project management or coordinator position is preferred.
- High level of interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, build teams and work within/lead cross functional teams.
- Must be assertive and have strong organization skills.
- Must be a self-starter and take initiative.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principals/methods and 5S deployment/ sustainability.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Solid Works is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

**Required Skills**:

- Expert level administrative skills including knowledge of manufacturing processes, project scheduling, project cost control.
- Accounting and finance principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial-related reports.
- Knowledge of job costing, and bill of materials
- Knowledge of change orders, credits and invoicing
- Advanced knowledge of project accounting concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
Office setting

Day Shift (8:00 - 4:30 pm) with occasional evenings and weekend overtime.
