Lead Placement Specialist

We provide a stepping-stone in a student’s career. Reporting to the Placement Manager, the Lead Placement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the student’s work experience, and the overall team performance. You will be working closely alongside the Placement Team to deliver all aspects of "matchmaking" help students secure a work experience for their educational programs. We are responsible for the successful match between the enthusiastic student and their perfect work experience opportunity. You understand the value of excellent service and how much attention to detail is key. **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING** - Oversee the Placement Team, support with day-to-day operations to ensure KPIs are met - Provide effective relationship management with our host company partners, education providers, industry bodies and corporate organisations - Assess student fit and profile in alignment with employer expectations - Work closely with employers to develop a thorough understanding of their operations, culture, and hiring needs - Place co-op students and program participants in roles related to their studies, skills and experience - Explore new opportunities in order to locate new streams of employer contacts - Present informational workshops to students to outline requirements and describe placement services - Manage the student’s placement process for our school partners - Prepare students, within a pre-determined timeframe, and ensure their profile meet the requirements of the employers **REQUIREMENTS** - A degree/diploma in business or related field - 3+ year experience in outbound sales, business dev, or account management - Team-lead experience preferred - Superior customer service and stakeholder engagement skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance requirements - Highly motivated by personal targets as well as team goals; a true team player - Proficiency in with Mac - Acute organization skills and strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines **WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HERE** - Competitive salary + bonus structure - Fun, young, goal-focused and action-oriented workplace culture - Flexible work environment; work from home or at our office - Full health and dental benefits - Make a positive impact by offering life-changing experiences to people. - Growth opportunities.
