The Opportunity: _**

**The Leasing Consultant’s role requires flexible working hours with some weekend and evening work based on assigned schedule. Regular working hours will be 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts.**

What You Will Do: _**

**Marketing and Leasing**
- Work closely with Marketing Team to update advertising and media channels, promotional programs and signage for the property
- Maintain the customer database and ensure that all leads are responded to, and all traffic documented appropriately
- Communicate and work with Property Management to ensure suites are delivered on time and as promised, and conduct move-in inspections and orientation with residents
- Maintain a working knowledge of competitive buildings and conduct regular market surveys of these properties
- Provide feedback and recommendations on rental rates, promotions and overall market conditions with a view to maximizing revenue at the property. Provide detail on leasing activity, prospect feedback and other relevant leasing insights that impact marketing efforts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, including local businesses that may add value to the resident experience or result in increased traffic to the property
- Other duties as required

**Resident Relations and Customer Experience**
- Build-on and maintain the relation developed throughout the initial leasing process, through to move-in. establish regular communication with new residents ensuring a seamless move-in experience
- Support with resident engagement and retention events and activities at the property as required
- Other duties as required

**Reporting and Administration**
- Report on vacancy, traffic and other metrics on a weekly basis
- Diligent entry and tracking of leads into BentallGreenOak CRM database
- Other duties as required

Who You Are: _**
- **Experience** - 3+ years’ experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality, experience-based retail, residential property management,, seniors housing, real estate sales or marketing
- **Education** - High School diploma supplemented with post-secondary courses in Business or Real Estate Administration
- **Real Estate License **- not required for this position
- **Relationship Skills** - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with prospects, residents and internal staff
- **Organizational/Multi-Task Skills** - Ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to work under pressure and achieve quality results; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; ability to use initiative and self-managing skills to work independently with mínimal direction and respond effectively to issues that arise
- **Computer Skills **- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and comfort in learning and working on new technology platforms. Experience in Yardi preferred, but not required
- **Availability**:

- Flexibility in hours. Evening and/or weekend work required
- **Knowledge** - Complete understanding of all applicable laws, legislation and rights concerning resident/landlord relations. Willingness to learn and diligently adhere to if not already proficient
