A friendly outgoing personality is a must to be Host/Hostess at Ruth's Chris Steak House. This person must create a hospitable first impression as well as great last impressions in order to create raving fans. Tasks include answering telephone calls, making reservations, hanging guest coats and seating guests. This person must hold high standards in hospitality and be well groomed.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House has its roots from New Orleans since 1965 when Ruth Fertel bought Chris’ Steak House and started working on the brand that we are so proud of today. Many of Ruth’s founding principles are at the core of how the company is ran today. Ruth was a single mother trying to create a better life for her two sons. She did this by building her business with her tireless work-ethic and true southern hospitality. Ruth treated all her staff and guests as family. The results speak for themselves. Although Ruth is no longer with us, she passed in 2002, she is still a guiding light in our focus on creating the best steak house experience possible, period.

The Alberta ownership for Ruth’s Chris Steak House is comprised of 4 Albertans. Ruth’s Chris was their favorite steak house for years before the ownership group was awarded the Alberta territory for the brand in 2005. Our group continues to focus on the same basics in hospitality that built the brand to what it is today.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
