Site Superintendant

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers to maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, quality control processes, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1-3 months

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON L4K 2L8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
