Compensation: $20.84/hour plus vacation pay; 2.5% pay in lieu of benefits
Location: London, ON
Schedule: Varied rotating shifts: evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- This position involves working in a supported-living setting - a 24/7 site providing support to adults with developmental disabilities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants
- Ensure that the individual needs of people are met on a daily basis (medical, personal, physical, financial, hygienic, social, recreational, emotional, developmental) in compliance with legislated requirements and company policies and procedures
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in Human, Health, and/or Social Services (e.g., DSW, PSW, SSW)
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in short
- or long-term living settings
- Demonstrated understanding of support requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, in addition to attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team, and independently as necessary
- Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets
- Valid Class G (full) Driver’s License with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record (mandatory)
- Current (within 3 months) satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (mandatory)
- Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory)
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR (mandatory) *Level C with AED training preferred
