**What you’ll be responsible for day to day**:
Working with the corporate accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all monthly, quarterly, and annual documents. This includes:

- Preparation of reporting documents in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel templates in Workiva
- Ensuring the sequencing of the deliverables is appropriate and seamless
- Preparing initial drafts of communications for both the financial reporting and investor relations teams
- Reviewing deliverables to ensure the elocution, tone, and figures are in line with the management’s goals and are consistent across various presentations
- Aiding with process improvements to facilitate alignment and communication within the team
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business units and corporate accounting staff
- Aide with the onboarding and training of new contributors to Workiva
- Responding to ad hoc queries and performing analyses, as necessary

**Some of the deliverables you will be focused on are**:

- Financial statements
- Investor decks
- Management decks
- ESG documents
- Annual reports
- Annual information form
- Management discussion and analysis
- Press releases

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to frequently transition between working independently and supporting team initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to grasp new technology tools

**Training and required experience**:

- Experience with Workiva
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and Yardi an asset)
- Background in public communications tied to accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working in a team environment
