**What you will do**
As part of the Research and Analytics team, you contribute to the strategic evolution of the Communications department's evaluation, measurement, and analytics program.
- Coordinate and conduct analysis, measurement, and evaluation of the department's activities so that they align with the Bank's overall goal of fostering Canadians' trust.
- Share the insights derived from the research in a way that makes them easy to understand and leads different teams to operationalize them in their day-to-day work.
- Provide support in the conduct of the public opinion research program, as well as qualitative research projects and other projects that aim to build knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s audiences.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the department’s evaluation, measurement, and analytical practices, bringing innovative ideas that will improve the team’s practices.
- Provide support in the modernization of the department’s data usage, analysis, and interpretation with a view to ensure the accuracy, quality and comprehensiveness of results.

**What you will need to succeed**

You are skilled at facilitating workshops and engaging with different teams to help them translate insights derived from research and analysis into concrete actions.

You easily develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a wide array of colleagues.

You have solid analysis skills and the ability to select, collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to come to conclusions that will inform the decision-making process.

You have excellent written skills and an ability to gather, analyze and synthetize vast amounts of complex information into clear and concise notes, reports, and visuals.

You have knowledge of the following:

- Program evaluation methodology and measurement
- Quantitative and qualitative research methods, data collection and analysis
- Web and social media analytics
- Expert-level knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, as well as Excel

You are a highly organized team player with a proactive attitude and a strong focus on quality and details.

**Nice-to-have**
- up-to-date knowledge of data management and governance practices
- knowledge of a programming language for data science, such as R

**Your education and experience**
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., public administration, communications, marketing, economics, statistics) and a minimum of five years of experience in program evaluation and measurement or public opinion research. Experience in measurement in the communications field specifically would be considered a strong asset.

**What you need to know**
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
