**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care while maintaining the dignity and respect of each individual.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Support clients in social activities and community engagement to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Use appropriate techniques for patient lifting and transferring, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support.

**Experience**
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care is highly valued.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and senior care practices is beneficial.
