**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Lead Hand directs and supports Technicians to ensure efficient, quality work on equipment while building long-term customer relationships and producing profits for the company. Will also perform Technician’s work including diagnostics, repair, paperwork, and ensures shop cleanliness & safety.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- **Education & Experience**:_
- 5+ years as a Heavy-duty truck and trailer Technician
- Previous supervision experience preferred
- Valid Class 1 with Air Driver’s License an asset (for road testing) an asset
- Safety Inspections Certificate an asset
- **Skills**:_
- A team player with a strong commitment to the customer
- Proven leadership skills including motivating, coaching, and training
- Demonstrated quality control skills and attention to detail
- Organized, sets priorities and meets deadlines
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent fact finding and analytical skills
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Familiar with tools of the trade and personally equipped with an adequate supply of hand tools

**Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30PM to 12:00AM**

Maxim Truck & Trailer has 17 branch offices and approximately 500 employees from Vancouver to Montreal. Our capabilities include the sale, rental, leasing, and complete after-sales service of new and used heavy duty truck and trailers.

**Salary**: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
